Business Hero's
Apache Mall - Rochester Apache Mall has hosted us several times. They provide many opportunities for our dogs: crowds, people in costume, food smells, children noises, different flooring, wide open spaces, various shoe noises, people with facial hair or glasses, etc. We typically train there from October - January. Due to their tile floors and many outside exits they are a great place for our puppies under 6 months old to train for short durations.
We've had wonderful service at Applebee's in Bloomington and Rochester. Sometimes when we meet it can take hours. The great staff at Applebee's do not rush us nor do they mind that we're there for three hours. We knew it was going to be great from the beginning: they offered our dogs water before they ever asked us if we wanted anything. It is a great place to teach the dogs to stay under the table, invisible, and out of the way AND enjoy a great meal.
Country Kitchen - Cannon Falls Country Kitchen in Cannon Falls has been so nice to us. Many times we meet there because it is between Rochester and the Cities so it's a central place for all the trainers/board members. The employees have told us they love telling customer's that we train our dogs there. Well we love going there. Their food and customer service is bar none. The location is just a bonus!
The Galleria Centerplace - Rochester This mall is located downtown Rochester. It is a great place after hours when the lunch crowds are gone. It provides see-through railings from the second, third, and fourth floors for height training. It also has elevators, handicap doors, tile flooring, and many shops. It's a large place to go that can be quieter than Apache Mall and it's connects to Rochester's skyway/subway system.
Rochester - Part of our training involves exposing the dogs to many different floor coverings. Hiller's was very friendly to our trainers. They asked if we needed any help. They said they have great flooring and great cleaners if there were to be an accident. They were very nice and wonderful to work with. Thank you Hiller's!! Oh, and there were no accidents. :)
Home Depot of Rochester and Bloomington - They were so nice to us during a training session. They offered to operate the fork lift, they yelled "CLEAR!" down the isle, and operated two different saws for the dogs. They let our dogs open and close the kitchen cabinets/drawers and retrieve a variety of items. The staff at Home Depot was wonderful! Thank you!
J&K Embroidery - J&K has been our embroiderer of choice for t-shirts, sweatshirts, and our banner. Wonderful company to work with and very skilled at what they do. They have helped design and produce many of our products that we offer for sale. They also embroider the dogs coats for us. They are a great company to work with.
Spencer Gifts in Rochester is wonderful to our dogs. They are a great place to train during the Halloween season because of their fantastic supply of scary gifts. Their staff even demonstrate some of their merchandise for us like the 1/2 dead man that drags himself across the floor or the life-size talking Dracula that moves when the dogs get near. It's definitely a fun place to go. |
